A Letter from Warren Buffett on 11-11-11

by Mark Skousen on November 11, 2011

Dear Friends,

I received a nice letter from Warren Buffett yesterday after I sent him a copy of my new book, “The Maxims of Wall Street.” I quote him and several dozen other Wall Street gurus in the first ever collection of famous sayings on Wall Street.  (I met Mr. Buffett last year at the graduation ceremony at Sing Sing.)

Dear Mark: I’m really going to enjoy the little book you sent me.  In fact, I plan to shamelessly steal some of the lines.   Thanks for thinking of me.   Sincerely,   Warren Buffett

I’m getting quite a few orders for “Maxims” as gifts for the holidays — for investors, stockbrokers, money managers, and friends.  Greg Galloway of Fund Advisors of America and Jeff Phillips of Global Markets ordered an entire box (32 to a box)….Martin Truax of Morgan Keegan bought four boxes…and Frank Holmes of US Global Investors bought 1000 copies for his shareholders.

The first limited edition (autographed and numbered) has now sold out, and a second printing of the first edition will be available next week on Amazon.com, or by calling Eagle Publishing at 1-800-211-7661 or www.markskousen.com.

Cheers, AEIOU,
